Collection: Quartz
Clear quartz is the most versatile stone in almost any collection. It appears colorless and transparent, though it may also include cloudiness, veils, phantoms, or natural inclusions that give it more character. Common varieties include milky quartz, phantom quartz, herkimer-style double terminated crystals, and garden quartz with landscape-like inclusions.
It is found all over the world, with notable material coming from Brazil, Arkansas, and the Alps. Quartz is often associated with amplification, focus, and clarity, but visually its real strength is that it sharpens everything around it. Some specimens may fluoresce under UV light depending on trace minerals, though many do not. It is clean, structural, and easy to style in both minimal and more layered collections.
