Collection: Amethyst
Amethyst carries a deep violet tone that feels composed and refined. It ranges from soft lavender to rich, saturated purple, with darker Uruguayan material often appearing more intense than lighter Brazilian varieties. You may also see chevron amethyst, which combines white quartz and purple banding in a more structured, graphic pattern, as well as pink amethyst, which has a softer blush tone and is usually treated as its own category.
Most amethyst comes from Brazil and Uruguay, where large crystal formations develop inside volcanic rock. It is often associated with clarity, calm, and a more grounded kind of focus. Some specimens may show faint fluorescence under UV light, though it is usually subtle. It is one of the easiest stones to build a collection around because it feels classic without feeling predictable.
